According to the Bureau of Agriculture & Rural Development of Dien Khanh District, the district has invested 20 billion VND on the irrigation canal reinforcement program in 2009.
Communes benefiting from the program include Suoi Hiep, Suoi Tien, Dien Loc, Dien Hoa, Dien Son, Dien Phu, Dien Dien, Dien Lam, Dien Tho, etc. The program for interior field canals is expected to finish by 2011. Reportedly, 60% of the interior field canals have been reinforced so far.
