Up to 5pm on November 4, Typhoon Mirinae has killed at least 10 people in Khanh Hoa Province (Van Ninh: 1, Cam Lam: 4, Ninh Hoa:4, Dien Khanh: 1), left 2 missing and injured 9 people (Van Ninh: 3,Ninh Hoa:2, Nha Trang: 1, Dien Khanh: 1, Khanh Son: 2).

A hour-long downpour and a whirlwind hit the province washing away 211 houses and destroying 737 others. Van Ninh was the worst affected area. 3,972 households were evacuated. The typhoon caused flooding and traffic jams in some areas. 21km of route, 853 ha of rice, 617 ha of sugarcane and 300 ha of wheat were destroyed. 150 poultry were lost.
