Under the housing program for the poor in 2009 – 2010, 104 houses will be built in Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province.
In 2009, 50 houses have been built with an expenditure of VND766 million including 366 million VND from the state budget and 400 million VND from the Bank for Social Policy. VND15.2 million/ house was offered to the poor in the communes of Dien Toan, Dien Binh, Dien Phuoc, Dien Tho, Dien Dien, Dien Son, Dien Lam, Dien Dong and Dien Xuan. VND16.4 million/ house was awarded to poor families in Dien Tan, a disadvantaged community.
In 2010, the district plans to provide a VND820 million housing assistance, VND5.2 million/ house, for the remaining poor families.
