The United Nations (UN) has declared 2010 as the International Youth Year which will begin on August 12, 2010 with the theme "Dialogue and Mutual Understanding" in an effort to promote the energy, imagination and initiative of the world’s young denizens.
All countries, communities and individuals are encouraged to further promote youth involvement in all social aspects, especially in the process of pursuing and achieving the development goals of the Millennium in 2015.
