Love from people living far from hometown

Many Khanh Hoa people, who are living and working far away from the hometown, wish to contribute to the development of Khanh Hoa. The bond among compatriots has been forged among Kieu Van Sinh – director of Viet Thuong Music Corporation, director Khoa Nguyen and May Kashi - director of May Link Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City). The three of them are working together to organize Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023.

Director Khoa Nguyen

Director Khoa Nguyen (real name Nguyen Van Khoa) was born in Ba Ngoi Ward (Cam Ranh City). He studied at School of Dramatic Arts 2 (now Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema). Khoa Nguyen started to work in the field of arts at a young age and have done many jobs in his art career, which helped him gain a lot of valuable experience. He has made films, theatre shows, music shows, fashion shows, and festivals, etc. 

Kieu Van Sinh, born in Ninh Hoa Town, has always tried to develop his career and do something good for his homeland. He and the members of Khanh Hoa-Saigon Businessmen’s Club have carried out various charity activities to help the disadvantaged people in Khanh Hoa, such as building charity houses, offering means of livelihood to people in need and scholarships to pupils, and so on. 
 

May Kashi, director of May Link Co., Ltd.

May Kashi (real name Nguyen Thi Thu Van) was born in Cam Ranh City. After graduating from Nha Trang College of Pedagogy (now Khanh Hoa University), she studied at a university in Hue City. After that, she pursued her favorite career in event organization and media. She has set her business up in Ho Chi Minh City. “My main job is creating content, producing art shows, organizing and making event communication. I need an environment with many opportunities and challenges to bring out my best, so I decided to work in Ho Chi Minh City. However, I always wish to contribute to my homeland," said May Kashi.

Working together for success of Sea Festival 2023

Linked by the bond of compatriot, Khoa Nguyen and Kieu Van Sinh have become close friends and cooperated to organize many programs in many provinces and cities in the country. They started working with May Kashi since a program in Ben Tre Province in 2021. Since then, the three of them have cooperated to organize many programs and events across the country.

This time, they continue to work together in Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023. Kieu Van Sinh is the production director; Khoa Nguyen is the general director; May Kashi is the creative director. As said by director Khoa Nguyen, large-scale events like Sea Festival need cooperation among people of different fields. Since August 2022, the crew members have worked together in creating ideas and scripts and reporting on the plan to Khanh Hoa Province’s leaderships. After being selected by the organization committee of Sea Festival 2023, the crew have strived their best to organize the sea festival successfully.

The advantage of Kieu Van Sinh, Khoa Nguyen and May Kashi when organizing Sea Festival 2023 is their understanding of local culture and life of the local people. Their love for the homeland also makes this cooperation different from their other programs. 

Reportedly, through the closing program of Sea Festival 2023, the organization crew wish to raise funds for disadvantaged Khanh Hoa students, who are studying in Ho Chi Minh City.
