Running to the future

Within the series of activities in response to the Sea Festival Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa 2023. Khanh Hoa Youth Union is organizing a running race “Running to the future”.

According to Tran Anh Tuan, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Youth Union, the running race is scheduled to take place at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City  on June 3. Registration will be open from May 8 for all people aged 15 and over. There are two groups for amateurs and professionals.

The group for amateurs include Youth Union members, young people and students from colleges, universities, academies and institutes in Khanh Hoa. The participation is free of charge.

The group for professionals is open to all residents and tourists (register fee required) via the link: timve365.vn/events/khanhhoa-run-to-future. There are 21 km, 10km and 5km distances. Participation fee is required at VND350,000/ person (21km) and VND300,000 person (5km and 10km).

The athletes will receive a race kit, including T-shirt and measuring a their individual performance in the competition. Winners in the first, second and third place will be rewarded cups, medals and awards.

The organizing board is hastening the preparation for the event. The event will be the highlight of the Sea Festival Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa 2023, promising to leave deep impression on local residents and tourists at home and abroad.

The event is in response to the program "10,000 steps a day" launched by Central  Youth Union and the program "Footsteps for the community" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, promoting physical exercise to improve well-being.

Besides the race, the provincial Youth Union will organize another online race on VietRace365 to raise funds for digital transformation and creation among the youth in Khanh Hoa and the environmental protection. The online race will be launched on June 3 until August 3.

A large number of people have registered to join the race in the group for athletes, mostly in 10km and 21km. If effectively held this time, the race will continue periodically to create a playground for physical exercise to improve health and overall well-being among young people and residents.
