Striving for export growth rate of 6-7% in 2021-2030 period

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the province’s commodity import-export strategy to 2030.

According to the plan’s goal, by 2025, Khanh Hoa’s export turnover of goods will reach USD2 billion; average export growth rate of goods in 2021-2030 period will reach 6-7%; import growth rate in 2021-2030 period is lower than export growth rate of goods in the same period. Besides, Khanh Hoa will also try to increase the proportion of export processing and manufacturing industries; attract investment to build logistics center and transport infrastructure for goods import and export; build cold storage for agricultural and aquatic products; develop post-harvest technology to increase added value for processed agricultural products; promote implementation of traceability of export agricultural and aquatic products; boost export promotion for 4-star and 5-star OCOP products, typical agricultural and rural products of provinces, and so on.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade to assume main responsibility and cooperate with related departments, sectors and localities to implement the plan.
