Australian Consul General visits Khanh Hoa

Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee welcomed Sarah Hooper, Australian Consul General, Ho Chi Minh City on June 22.

Le Huu Hoang gave an overview of provincial potentials, strengths and socio-economic development strategies, and hoped Sarah Hooper would provide support and connection with Australian investors to Khanh Hoa in such sectors as marine economics, logistics and high technology; continue promoting tourism and attracting Australian visitors to Khanh Hoa; supporting English teaching, opening training courses against illegal, undeclared and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Sarah Hooper said after the working trip, the Australian Consul General hoped that she would return to Khanh Hoa for more discussions about sectors of mutual interest such as high-quality tourism training, green economics, marine economics, green energy, tourism promotion, training against IUU fishing and solutions to reduce ocean pollution.
