Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee in partnership with the Australian Embassy in Vietnam held Vietnam – Australia: Shine and Thrive in Education and Agrifood Opportunities in Nha Trang City on September 22.
Present at the event were Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Rebecca Ball, Australian Deputy Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, delegates from the Australian Embassy in Vietnam; the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade); 25 Australian educational insinuations; 45 Australian food and beverage businesses; chains of restaurants, hotels, retail businesses, universities, colleges and high schools in Khanh Hoa Province.
In the education session, representatives were introduced about Australian expertise and excellence in education and training from leading Australian universities and academic institutions; as welll as provided opportunities for institutional linkages, recruitment and training partnerships.

The agrifood session involved displaying high-grade Australian products as well as provided opportunities for Vietnamese and Australian businesses to promote trade exchange and cooperation.

The event was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Australia. On September 21 and 22, Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City also had working sessions with colleges, universities and food businesses in Khanh Hoa Province.
