Khanh Hoa receives 9-millionth visitor

The nine-millionth visitor to Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa was warmly welcomed at Cam Ranh Airport on October 1 by Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, Cam Ranh International Airport, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Airlines Branch in Nha Trang.

Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of the Department of Tourism, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and related agencies gave greeting flowers and gifts to the 9-millionth visitor, An Jin Yeong (South Korean), on Vietnam Airlines from South Korea to Cam Ranh; and the 18,999,999th and 9,000,00th visitors.

In 2024, Khanh Hoa tourism aims to welcome 9 million overnight tourists, including 3 million international visitors with a revenue of VND40,100 billion. Khanh Hoa tourism reach the target 3 months ahead of schedule.

According the Department of Tourism, Khanh Hoa has welcomed 9 million overnight tourists, a year-on-year increase of 57.9%, including 3.6 million international visitors, up by 147.9% with a total tourism revenue estimated at VND44,138.4 billion, up by 61.9% (exceeding 10% of the 2024 plan).
