There’s a poor family in which the wife with breast cancer has to take care of the husband with brain injury and three small children are uncared and prone to quitting school.
The unlucky couple are Tu Quan Tuan, 47, and Tran Thi Thuy, 44. They live in Van Phuoc Commune, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province.
Previously, the wife Thuy caught snails in the river near their house and the husband fetched firewood in forest to earn daily living. Their family is poor naturally.
For one year, Thuy has caught breast cancer. Their family has become more difficult as it lost a labor and cost much money to treat the wife’s disease. Every 20 days, the husband had to carry the wife 100 kilometers to the provincial General Hospital for radiotherapy which cost about VND4 million each time.
More unfortunately, one day in April, after taking his wife to the hospital, Tuan met with a traffic accident on his way home. He got serve injuries in legs, arms and brain. The hit-and-run escaped. Tuan was taken to hospital but he’s in critical condition now. He is incapable of movement.
Miserably, now the diseased wife has to take care of the injuried husband. Both of them are very weak and their finance also has been exhausted. Their three children are uncared and they run the risk of quitting school.
