Through Quang Tri Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Khanh Hoa Newspaper offered VND300 million to assist the localities and local people to overcome and recover from the natural disasters.
Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Quang Tri Newspaper visited and offered VND20 million and 600 notebooks to Hoa Binh Primary School, Dong Ha City. This is the school where many disadvantaged pupils are studying and which was badly-damaged by the floods.
The delegation also visited, encouraged and presented 260 gifts to the people badly impacted by the recent storms in the communes of Vinh Son, Vinh Lam, Vinh Linh District, worth VND1 million each; offered 2,000 notebooks and VND20 million to Vinh Lam Primary School and Vinh Son Primary and Junior High School.
Reportedly, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has called for donations and received over VND800 million from the readers, enterprises, and individuals to help the flood-hit central region. The local authorities and leaderships of the units in Quang Tri Province expressed their sincere thanks for the support of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Quang Tri Newspaper, readers, enterprises and people in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.
