Nearly VND63 million given to female pupil drops out of school due to serious illness

The representatives of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Champagroup Investment Joint Stock Company - Champa Island Nha Trang and Trung Tin Co., Ltd. recently visited and gave over VND53.4 million to the family of Vo Thi Thu Han, who has been suffering from nephrotic syndrome (Tien Ninh Hamlet, Van Khanh Commune, Van Ninh District). Han has had to drop out of school to be hospitalized for long-term treatment. Her circumstance was reported by Khanh Hoa Online on April 6.

The money included over VND38.4 million from the readers in and outside Khanh Hoa Province, VND5 million from  the charity box of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, VND5 million from Champagroup - Champa Island Nha Trang, and VND5 million from Trung Tin Co., Ltd.

Readers donated more than VND35.6 million via Khanh Hoa Newspaper's account. Besides, some people had visited and given to Vo Thi Thu Han’s family over VND9.5 million.

Receiving the donations, Nguyen Thi Kim Sang, Han’s mother, expressed her gratitude to the units and individuals, who offered the support to help Han continue her treatment.
