Lunar New Year Festival comes nearer. The dancers are engrossed in more practice. In three hours each evening, they have to practice 6 items for many times to perform in only 30 minutes.

Do Nguyen Tuan Linh, student from Nha Trang College of Culture, Arts and Tourism, said, “I’ve joined My Friend dance group for one year. I’m keen on performing, so I try to practice for my skill to get more professional. Despite being paid merely VND100,000 – VND200,000/person/program, young dancers always try their best to devote beautiful dances.

For 10 years, first dancers of My Friend have grown up. Some left the group for other cultural organizations, for example Quang Trung (actor of the provincial Traditional Arts Theatre), Ha Tran (working for the provincial Heritage Preservation Center), Khanh Tam, Phuong Tuyen (singers) and Minh Triet (choreographer). But following their keenness, many young dancers of My Friend are doing their best for arts.
