With some new luxury cinemas, people in Nha Trang now have chances to enjoy interesting movies. On lunar new year holiday, Vietnamese movies were the most favorite.

During the lunar new year holiday, 4 of 8 films released cinemas are Vietnamese, including Beauty Trap directed by Nguyen Quang Dung, Five Fairies in the House by Tran Ngoc Giau, Fly into a Dream by Phuong Dien and Love me! Do you dare? by Nguyen Quang Minh.

Beauty Trap is the most expected film owning to famous beauties of Vietnamese showbiz such as Tang Thanh Ha, Thanh Hang, Ngoc Quyen and Kim Dung. Lotte Nha Trang Cinema in particular has sold 5,000 tickets with 7 shows a day in both 2D and 3D.

Also in this cinema, Five Fairies in the House with famous comedians such as Hoai Linh, Viet Huong, Chi Tai, Hoang Son and Quoc Thuan along with famous stars such as Ngan Khanh, Miu Le, Phuong Thanh, Thanh Bach and Phi Nhung, has drawn nearly 11,000 viewers.

Love me! Do you dare? is a romantic and humorous film with a lot of stars Dan Truong, Miu Le, Tran Thanh, Chi Tai, Hoang Son, Nhat Cuong, Hieu Hien, Viet Anh, Thanh Thuy, Kieu Mai Ly while Fly into a Dream is a kung fu and funny film with participation of Linda Trang Dai, Tommy Ngo, Vinh Thuyen Kim, Kieu Oanh and Le Huynh.

According to Lam Dao Huan, head of Lotte Nha Trang Cinema, the total turnover of the cinema in the lunar new year season was about VND1.7 billion. Five Fairies in the House made up the biggest figure with VND700 million, followed by Beauty Trap with VND510 million.

Platinum Cineplex of Nha Trang Center also was full of viewers. Beside Vietnamese films, some American action films like Parker and Die Hard 5 also sold out tickets. The films continue to be screened.
