The seventeenth propaganda contest of Nha Trang City has contributed to propagandizing many meanings to the people and encouraged the public arts.

The propaganda contest this year was participated by nearly 300 performers from 27 wards and communes in the city. Each team performed a propaganda act in 30 minutes. The acts were very meaningful. They praised the Communist Party, President Ho Chi Minh, patriotism and the country’s sovereignty of sea and islands. Besides, the acts reflected social issues such as environmental protection and traffic or criticized vices such as corrupt and waste. Especially, some teams used real circumstances in the locality to send messages to the people, making their acts more practical.

Some impressive acts were “Island love story” by Vinh Phuoc Ward with emotion about soldiers on remote islands, songs about the mainland people’s sentiments towards the country’s islands and the act themed “Eliminating hunger and reducing poverty” by Phuoc Tien Ward.

Tran Thi Thu Huong, head of Phuoc Tien Ward team, shared, “Our performance means to criticize those who misapproriated the poor supporting policies and encourage the rise of laborers.”

The acts not only had propaganda meanings but showed talents of performers such as singing, dancing and play-acting.

Though the contest, many faces gifted at propaganda in wards and communes were found.

Finally, 5 wards of Vinh Phuoc, Van Thanh, Phuoc Tan and Vinh Ngoc won Prize A while Prize B was given to teams of Phuong Sai, Vinh Hải, Phuoc Long, Vinh Hiep and Vinh Phuong. There also are 17 incentive prizes and some extra ones.
