An autochrome exhibition of French photographer Léon Busy on the life of Vietnamese in the early nineteenth century will open on December 6, 2013 and last until Janunary 4, 2014 at the French Cultural Center, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.

The autochromes, taken from 1914 to 1917, will be displayed in two themes: daily life – business and society; environment and belief.

With those autochromes, Léon Busy will partly help the public to understand more about the past of the nation.

In addition, about ten black and white short films about that period will be screened.
