Help-Portrait reaches ethnic minorities in Khanh Hoa

Help-Portrait program has just reached the ethnic minorities in Khanh Thuong Commune, Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Hoa Province. Around 300 free photographs were delivered to each people.
 

Help-Portrait program has just reached the ethnic minorities in Khanh Thuong Commune, Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Hoa Province. Around 300 free photographs were taken for the people.
 
Joining the event were fifty photographers and volunteers. Some of them have known about Khanh Thuong Commune thoroughly but many have never come there before. Therefore, this social activities is an occasion for them to learn about the life of people in the mountainous region.

Tran Hai Binh, head of Anh Sang Dep Club said, “Our club have desired to join this event for a long time. Therefore, when the event was launched, the members were very eager. Our members are used to going to the mountainous regions for working, so they have become familiar with the people here  quickly .”
 
At first, the “models” were quite embarrassed to be photographed for free but then, they became more comfortable and happily joined with photographers. A lot of beautiful moments have been taken.
 
Pi Nang Thi Hien, a  80-year-old person of natural feature with  a smile always in her eyes, is the most attractive "model" of the photographers. She said to be very happy when given many beautiful photos.
 
Reportedly, Khanh Thuong is a poor commune in Khanh Vinh District. Most of people here are the Raglai while the others are the T’Rin, Kinh, E De, Muong and Tay. They have not many chances to take souvenir photographs. Therefore, to the ethnic minorities in the commune, it was a rare occasion to be photographed and given portrait photographs on the spot for free.

Olga Efimova, a Russian member, smiled radiantly when showing a colorful painting created by many hand dots of children. “This is the first time I've joined his program. These meaningful activities should be popularized more so that foreigners in Nha Trang City like me can take part in,” said Olga.
 
Dinh Quan, journalist of Tien Phong Newspaper, shared, “The life of people in the highland regions has many difficulties. However, they showed the beauty of plainness and contentment despite poor conditions. W e have taken a lot of beautiful photos of them  but each person was given only one photo on the premises a s programmed . We will print the others to give them in a later visit.”
