Japanese cultural festival to welcome New Year held in Hanoi

The Japanese cultural festival titled "Ake Ome! 2014" was held on December 29 at Giang Vo Exhibition Center. This was an activity to welcome New Year 2014 and a highlight to end the numerous cultural – art activities celebrating the 40th anniversary of Vietnam- Japan diplomatic ties in 2013.

This was an activity to welcome New Year 2014 and a highlight to end the numerous cultural – art activities celebrating the 40th anniversary of Vietnam- Japan diplomatic ties in 2013.
 

 

 

“Ake Ome” is the shortened form of “Akemashite Omedetou”, a greeting for New Year of Japanese.
 
The festival attracted thousands of participants, partly promoting the friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
