The awarding ceremony of the writing-for-children contest 2012 – 2013 was held by the Vietnam-Denmark Children's Literature Support Project in Hanoi. Also on this occasion, the organization board launched the 2013 – 2015 writing-for-children contest.

After two years of launching, the 2012 – 2013 writing contest received over 300 entries for both genres, including prose for children from 10 – 14 years old and cartoon for those aged 2 – 6.
All the awarded books and some writings of the final round were introduced to the readers as a gift for Christmas season.
