Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism summarized the works in 2013 and launched new plan for 2014 in a conference held on January 16th.
In 2013, the province's industry of culture, sports and tourism overcame many difficulties to fulfill the tasks assigned. Numerous cultural and sports activities were successfully organized through out the province, meeting the needs of entertainment of locals and tourists.

Especially, the tourism had a strong development with the total revenue of over VND3,900 billion (37.78% up compared with 2012), receiving over 3 million visitors (27.4% up) with 724,000 foreigners (36.44% up). The province has nearly 550 accommodations with around 15,000 rooms, increasing by 2,300 rooms compared to last year.

r. In addition, the Committee also gave certificates of excellent labor to 5 collectives, and certificates of merit to 16 collectives and individuals who fulfilled excellently the assignments of 2013.
