Beautiful male voice

Trong Khai, born in 1986 in a sea village in Ninh Thuy, Ninh Hoa Town, seems to inherit the love for music from his father.

In 2005, he became a student of Nha Trang Culture – Art – Tourism College, starting to pursue his dream as a singer.

He won the first prize at the KTV Singing Contest 2007 when he was in the second year. At that time, Trong Khai was highly appreciated and expected to become a new promising singer in Khanh Hoa Province. However, he nearly did not have any music activities afterwards because he voluntarily enlisted in the army with the intention of working as an army singer.

In 2011, Trong Khai became one of the main singers of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troop. He won the golden prize at the national festival of professional song and dance troops held in Dak Lak in 2012. His performance at the music show welcoming Lunar New Year 2014 also received a good response from the audience.

Trong Khai and Hoai Thuong are now the two most promising young singers of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troop. According to meritorious artist Ngoc Lien, Trong Khai has a beautiful voice which is fit for lyrical songs. However, he needs more training to get a deeper voice.

Reportedly, Trong Khai is now studying vocal music at Hue Music Academy. “I am never satisfied with myself. I always practice hard to promote my performing skills and musical aesthetic,” he shared.

Especially, Thuy Thoa has a stuff that made of a big Tuong actress who is suitable for the roles like female general, princess, etc.,” said Nguyen Tu Hai, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Traditional Arts Theatre.
