The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam), the first national university of Vietnam, was built thousands years ago. In 1803, King Gia Long allowed the localities across the country to build temples to worship Confucius. Dien Khanh Temple of Literature, located at Phu Loc Commune, Hoa Chau District, was built during that period.
