Singing voice of journalists in Central and Highlands

The Vietnamese journalists' singing voice festival 2014 – Central and Highlands region partly showed the musical life of the journalists in those regions. Although they were amateur, their performances evoked emotion in the audiences thanks to their musical aesthetic and ability to manage the stage.
 

The Vietnamese journalists’ singing voice festival 2014 – Central and Highlands region partly showed the musical life of the journalists in those regions. Although they were amateur, their performances evoked emotion in the audiences thanks to their musical aesthetic and ability to manage the stage.
 
On May 5, the Vietnamese journalists’ singing voice festival 2014 – Central and Highlands region took place at Khanh Hoa Provincial Conference Center (46 Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang city). The event featured 13 musical items of the journalists from the provinces in the Central and Highlands, including Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Kon Tum, Quang  Ngai, Quang Nam, Phu Yen and Da Nang.
 
Finally, the three items of singers from VTV Da Nang, Quang Ngai Provincial Press Association and Lam Dong Provincial Press Association were selected to enter the final round.

The musical festival featured many songs bearing the regional typicality such as the Northern, the Central and the Highlands.
 
Although that was just a playground for the amateur singers, many participants had a good preparation for their items. Many singers performed songs about the revolution and nation with a strong and energetic tone, bringing emotion to the audience.

According to the organization board, the contestants at the semi-final night - Central and Highlands region had a vocal technique which was not as good as the ones in the Southern and Northern. However, those contestants sang emotionally with full of enthusiasm, leaving a quite good impression on the audience.
 
It can be said that, the Vietnamese journalists’ singing voice festival 2014 – Central and Highlands region is not only a musical competition but also a good occasion for the journalists in the Central and Highlands to meet and exchange.
