People’s Committee of Van Binh Commune, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province held a ceremony on September 9 to receive a certificate recognizing Trung Dong Communal House as architectural – artistic relic at provincial level.

Trung Dong Communal House, also known as Trung An Communal House, built in 1838, is a place for worshiping the village’s Tutelary God, holding meeting and cultural activities during festivals.

The communal house has four royal decrees conferred by Nguyen Kings. It is also the place where many important historic events took place during the nation’s two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism.

After three times of repair, the ancient architecture of Trung Dong Communal House still remains almost intact.
