Vietnamese students' short films to attend Asian International Children's Film Festival 2014

The three short films winning at the short film-making contest for Vietnamese students were selected to attend the Asian International Children's Film Festival 2014 which is expected to take place on November 29 in Minamiawaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

The three short films winning at the short film-making contest for Vietnamese students were selected to attend the Asian International Children’s Film Festival 2014 which is expected to take place on November 29 in Minamiawaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

 


Birla Children’s Village (Hanoi) bagged the first prize with work “Bottle of Medicine” (Lo thuoc). The second place came to film “Grandma’s smile - A dream” (Nụ cười của bà - Một ước mơ) of Thang Long Junior High School (Hanoi). Phan Chu Trinh Junior High School (Hanoi) was awarded third prize for “Aspiration” (Khat vong).


Reportedly, the festival aims to create a platform for creative interaction and cultural exchange among young people. This year, the festival will focus on the theme “My Dream.”
