Vietnamese photographer honored at 2014 CGAP Photo Contest

Vietnamese photographer Tran Dinh Thuong has just granted the Special Mention award at the 2014 CGAP Photo Contest thanks to his photo "Traditional", depicting a woman handling delicate ceramics at a pottery kiln to earn her daily wage.

Other six photographers of Vietnam were also selected to enter the final round of this contest.


The contest, held by CGAP (the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor), a global partnership of 34 leading organizations, attracted 4,820 entries of both professional and amateur photographers over the world.
