The 7th European – Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival is scheduled to take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in June 10-19 and June 11-20 respectively. The documentary film about Truong Sa Islands, directed by Tran Tuan Hiep and Nguyen Quang Tuan, is selected to screen at this festival.

The film reflects the process of formation of Spratly as well as affirms the sovereignty of Vietnam over the islands.
During the festival, each Vietnamese film will be followed by films of other countries like Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
