Go Mieu archeological vestige is part of Hoa Diem archeological vestige (Cam Thinh Dong, Cam Ranh City), which discovered in 2010. Hoa Diem archeological vestige, dating from around 1st or 2nd century BC to 1st or 2nd century AD, is the place where the ancient people lived and were buried.
Reportedly, the excavation aimed to make a deeper research on Hoa Diem archeological vestige, not to discover ancient objects.
