The festival was like a beautiful flower garden thanks to the diversity of content and unique theatre forms. Beside the items praising the nation, Communist Party and Uncle Ho, there were items reflecting the tradition of the armed forces. The image of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” was vividly depicted, which created a special hallmark for the festival.

At this year’s festival, the participating units showed creativeness in arranging the program, which helped to evoke the emotion and feelings.
“This year’s festival saw creativeness and good investments in arranging the performances which closely connected with the public. The performances were arranged basing on the festival’s theme but still had subtle aspects which reflected the characteristics of each unit and the cultural identities of the lands where the troops are garrisoned,” said Colonel Dinh Cong Thuan, Head of the Culture – Arts Bureau, Propaganda and Training Department, General Political Department (Ministry of National Defense), deputy dead of the organization board.
At the 2015 public arts festival, there were many items showed professionalism. The collective items were creatively and lively arranged. Many traditional songs of the army were performed with some interesting changes, showing the freshness of the soldiers. Hip-hop dances, a cappella performances and unique props were also the highlights of the festival.

Some outstanding singers at the 2015 festival were Thu Hang (General Political Department) and A Long (Infantry Division 2 – Military Zone 5), etc. Many soldiers also showed their talents through orchestral items and solo items of national musical instruments.
The public arts festival 2015 was like a cultural festival of the whole population. The auditorium of Khanh Hoa Provincial Convention Center was always full of audience during the time the festival taking place. The audience could feel the joyful atmosphere, the solidarity between the soldiers and the civilians. “The atmosphere of the festival was very ebullient. Many items were very attractive and reflected the close connection between the soldiers and the civilians. I especially like the solo performances of musical instruments, singing and dancing items which showed the regional cultural characteristics,” said Nguyen Thi Thanh (Loc Tho Commune, Nha Trang City).
The organization board also sent arts units to the localities and military units being garrisoned in the province. This activity partly contributed to strengthen the solidarity and connection between the armed forces and the residents in the localities as well as to build up a stronger and stronger whole people’s national defense.
Finally, the festival ended with 48 golden medals and 56 silver ones were awarded to excellent performances; 5 golden medals and five silvers were given to actors and actresses who excellently performed in the short dramas ans skits. The organiation board also offered certificates of merit to 13 good items praising the Communit Party and Ho Chi Minh President.
