The 25th music festival on soldiers ended at Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center on December 14. During the festival, over 600 actors and singers of 18 units performed more than 80 singing and dancing items which expressed the love for the nation, the Communist Party, uncle Ho and the soldiers.
The performances of the units in four nights attracted many locals and tourists. Thanks to the songs and performances, the public could know more about the difficulties and great exertion of the soldiers on the training ground, silent sacrifice of the soldiers to protect the country, their life and thoughts as well as their thirst for happiness.
Apart from the familiar units, this year’s festival saw the attendance of some new ones, such as Bien goi UNESCO Musical Club, Khanh Hoa University, Viettel Khanh Hoa Branch, etc. The participation of these units brought the freshness and helped to make the festival to become more diverse.
Beside the increase of participants, the quality of this year’s festival was also raised. Most of the items were arranged well and had high efficiency of propaganda. “In this year’s festival, the participating units made better investments in performances and costumes. Many items were arranged professionally,” said Nguyen Phuong Dong, Director of Khanh Hoa Cultural Center, head of the organization board. The festival also acknowledged of the efforts of the participants in editing and arranging the programs with just few help from the professionals.
Khanh Hoa is now the only locality in the country which has held and kept organizing the music festival about the soldiers. Through the festival, many new talents have been found and trained to improve the public musical movement at grass-roots level.
Reportedly, the number of participating units at the festival increased from eight units in the first time of organization to around twenty units nowadays. In many years, beside the musical groups from the armed forces, the festival has also been joined by the ones from the civil units, such as the provincial Veteran’s Association, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, Khanh Viet Corporation, Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy, and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 4.
“The festival’s quality has been increasingly improved, bringing the audience many good impressions on the relationship between the soldiers and the veterans. The increasing number of participants shows the festival’s attraction and people’s love towards Uncle Ho’s soldiers,” said Le Van Hoa, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, head of the festival’s organization board.
