The Photo competition “Environmental Photographer of the Year” 2016 was officially launched on March 2, opening to all professional and amateur photographers of all ages over the world.
The competition was first launched in 2007 by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and sponsored by Atkins.
The 2016 winner will received an award worth £3,000. There are also some other awards to be presented, such as Atkins CIWEM Young Environmental Photographer of the Year, Atkins CIWEM Environmental Film of the Year, and CIWEM Changing Climate Prize.
Each entrant can submit up to 10 still photographs or films. The entries must have been completed since January 1, 2015 and be submitted by 5pm (GMT) on April 18, 2016. More details are at www.epoty.org.
