On June 21, Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association held the 91st anniversary of Vietnam Revolution Press Day and awarding ceremony of Khanh Hoa Press Awards 2016. Attending the event were Nguyen Dac Tai, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Ho Van Mung, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Head of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Propaganda & Training.

Khanh Hoa Press Awards 2016 received 133 works of many types of journalism: print journalism (106 ones), broadcast journalism (19 works), radio journalism (4 works), electronic journalism (1 work), and photojournalism (3 works).
The organization board gave two first prizes to the entrants of Khanh Hoa Radio – Television Station; four second prizes, six third prizes, ten consolation prizes to other winners (Khanh Hoa Newspaper received two second prizes, two third prizes and five consolation prizes). The journalism branch of Khanh Hoa Radio – Television Station and Khanh Hoa Newspaper were awarded collective prizes.
On this occasion, Vietnam Journalist Association offered souvenir medals to eight journalists. Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalist Association gave certificates of merit to eight excellent members; admitted five journalists to the association.
