Reportedly, Vietnam had nine films presented at this film festival. “Yen’s life” was selected to be the film entry for the Main Competition. Finally, the film of Vietnam won over the ones of Malaysia (Redha), Philippines (Daughters of the Three Tailed Banner), Spain (Love above all things) and France (By accident) to win the Grand Festival Prize.
