The 2017 Spring Newspaper Festival of Khanh Hoa Province opened at the provincial Cultural Center (No.5 2-4 Street, Nha Trang City) on January 23. Presenting at the opening ceremony were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Xuan Than, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Dac Tai, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Ho Van Mung, Head of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Propaganda & Training; and leaders of the provincial departments.

The 2017 festival exhibits around 5,000 publications of nearly 500 newspapers and magazines. The publications are displayed in the shape of a sail out to sea, representing the aspiration for integration into the world.

Beside the provincial Cultural Center, Khanh Hoa’s 2017 Spring Newspaper Festival is also organized at some districts, communes and cities in the province.

After the closing ceremony, the exhibited publications will be given to Spratly Island District, local libraries and cultural centers.
