Book on architecture of Vietnamese village's communal houses published

On August 9, the Institute for the Conservation of Monuments (ICM) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism published the first volume of the series about the architecture of Vietnamese village's communal houses.

On August 9, the Institute for the Conservation of Monuments (ICM) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism published the first volume of the series about the architecture of Vietnamese village’s communal houses. The series is the result after many researches in several years of the institute.
 
The book comprises photos, architectural drawings and research articles about 15 typical village’s communal houses in the North of Vietnam. 

 

 
The next volumes will introduce other typical village’s communal houses throughout Vietnam. Reportedly, the similar publications on the architecture of pagodas, temples, and shrines of Vietnam will be issued in the future.
