The website is a project of the Vietnam Intellectual Cooperation Center. As reported, the establishers of the website aims to develop the site into a leading one in Vietnam which provides quality book reviews, ranking of books, encouragement, and orientation to Vietnamese people, especially the young ones, about books.
Besides, the website is planned to become the most prestigious one about book evaluation in Vietnam, which will connect the publishers, book companies and readers; extend the networks of reading community in Vietnam; do market researches; promote books, and so on. Apart from exchanging through social networking sites, the website has also held offline activities and talk shows about books. The site introduces a diverse range of books, such as books on culture, science, psychology, technology, and society.

The site now contains eight columns, which are library, collection, reading styles, from book to life, book events, new books, readers’ writings, and what I read. “What I read” column features the reviews of many famous people in Vietnam of their favorite books as well as their recommendations for books to read.
