The Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin in Switzerland (AAAYS) recently associated with the Consulate General of Switzerland in Ho Chi Minh City and other units and individuals to open an exhibition displaying the photographs taken by Dr. Alexandre Yersin at IDECAF (institute of cultural exchange with France in Ho Chi Minh City).
The Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin in Switzerland (AAAYS) recently associated with the Consulate General of Switzerland in Ho Chi Minh City and other units and individuals to open an exhibition displaying the photographs taken by Dr. Alexandre Yersin at IDECAF (institute of cultural exchange with France in Ho Chi Minh City). This activity is purposed to mark the French Week and the 75th dead anniversary of Dr. Alexandre Yersin.
At the exhibition, 70 photographs about Vietnam taken by Yersin throughout the time he lived and worked in this country are introduced for the first time to the public. These photographs are a part of the collection of Yersin’s photographs having been preserved at Alexandre Yersin Museum and Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang.
