Khanh Hoa Cinema Center on March 12 held a ceremony to mark the 65th founding anniversary of Vietnam Voluntary Cinema (March 15, 1953 – March 15, 2018).
At the ceremony, the attendees look back on the history of Vietnam cinema in general and Khanh Hoa cinema in particular.
On March 15, 1953, President Ho Chi Minh signed a decree establishing Vietnam’s National Business on Cinema and Photography. In 2010, March 15 was selected as Vietnam Cinema Day.

Also at the ceremony, Le Van Hoa, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports offering certificate of merit of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to Khanh Hoa Cinema Center. The Bureau of Cinema also gave certificate of merit to some outstanding collectives and individuals.
