The book belongs to the Nguyen Huy family (Truong Loc, Can Loc District, Ha Tinh Province). It is the copy of the work of Nguyen Huy Anh, who achieved third place in the PhD examination in Le Hien Tong dynasty. In 1765 and 1767, Nguyen Huy Anh wrote the book, using writing, drawings,  and maps to detail his journey to China, during which he was an envoy of Vietnamese delegates.
