Recently, the Construction Advisory Council for Khanh Hoa’s new museum, leading professors and scientists in Vietnam like Professor Le Van Lan, Associate Professor – PhD Nguyen Van Huy, and PhD Nguyen Viet Chuc, and leaders of some units in Khanh Hoa conducted a fieldwork and deliberated over the building project of the new museum in Khanh Hoa.

The new museum of Khanh Hoa will be located at Nha Trang old airport, covering an area of 14,900 square meters, in which 3,000 to 4,000 square meters will be for the exhibition and administration blocks. The remaining area will be used for park and themed statues. The exhibition block is proposed to have three stories and one basement and be built in the shape of a ship, the typical image of Khanh Hoa. The two storey-and-one-basement administrative block will have the shape of Ponagar Temple, housing the museum’s café, souvenir store, offices, and auxiliary area.

The construction advisory council suggested that the new museum focuses on introducing the history and culture of the ethnic groups in Khanh Hoa; not only contribute to the economic and tourism growth of Khanh Hoa but also provide a useful leaning place for young people. The exhibits need to be the original ones and be displayed in a modern and attractive style. The new technologies will also be needed to make the museum experience more vividly and interesting.
