On April 4, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dac Tai and the leaders of Khanh Hoa provincial departments and localities met with the representatives of Vietnam Television (VTV) about the contents of some upcoming live VTV broadcasts in Khanh Hoa.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed the preparation for the opening ceremony of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2019 and National Tourism Year 2019. According to the previous agreement between Khanh Hoa’s leaders and VTV, the opening ceremony will be live aired on VTV1 channel at 8pm on May 10 with a duration of 90 minutes.

The VTV representatives also presented the plan for a 100-minute-long program about the aloe wood, a typical product of Khanh Hoa. The program is slated to be held at the 2-4 Square, Nha Trang on April 30 and to be live broadcast on VTV9. Besides introducing and honoring the aloe wood industry of Khanh Hoa, the program will also include a talk with the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Khanh Hoa Province about the policy for the development of aloe wood in the future, and music performances of some famous Vietnamese singers.
Nguyen Dac Tai highly appreciated the program about the aloe wood of VTV and requested VTV to cooperate with Khanh Hoa’s departments and units to produce the program.
