The couple dancing competition, an activity of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2019, took place from May 5 to 13 at the sport hall of Khanh Hoa University (No.5 Tran Hung Dao Street, Nha Trang). The competition was jointly organized by Nha Trang City People's Committee and Nha Trang City Youth Union.

24 dance couples in and outside Khanh Hoa participated in the preliminary round. 14 most outstanding couples qualified for the finals where they were divided into age groups from 11 to 14 years old and 16 to 35 years old. The final round included compulsory dance (chachacha) and free dance (rumba, tango, valse, baso, etc.)

Finally, dance couple from Vinh Truong Ward won first prize of 11-14 age group, and couple from Van Thang Ward was given first prize of 16-35 age group.
