In the first months of this year, the locals and tourists in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa enjoyed numerous special and annual-held art programs and activities at various scales, such as cultural shows celebrating Lunar New Year, New Year live videoconference, announcing ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2019, and cultural day of Vietnamese ethnic communities.
In the first months of this year, the locals and tourists in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa enjoyed numerous special and annual-held art programs and activities at various scales, such as cultural shows celebrating Lunar New Year, New Year live videoconference, announcing ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2019, and cultural day of Vietnamese ethnic communities.
The most outstanding art program held in the past six months in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa was the opening ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year and Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2019. With four main cultural events and numerous other cultural and sports activities, the beach city during the sea festival became more animated. Apart from the performances showing the modern and active aspects of the city and province, there were also many other ones reflecting the local traditional cultural characteristics.
The Ministry of Culture-Sports and Tourism organized plenty of activities across Khanh Hoa to mark the Visit Vietnam Year 2019, including the art shows introducing the intangible cultural heritages of humanity of Vietnam, exhibition on Vietnam’s cultural heritages and sea and island tourism, and exhibition on the beauty of Khanh Hoa. The participation of the art groups from many regions over the country helped to diversify and enrich the colors of these art activities.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports in the past months focused on holding high quality cultural and art programs to serve the locals and tourists. The department proposed that the province’s leaders should better the quality of cultural events and contests. The art groups in the province also made efforts to improve their performances, contributing to the development of the local tourism.
The fact that Khanh Hoa was selected to host the Visit Vietnam Year 2019 is a good opportunity for the province to introduce and promote the local tangible and intangible cultural heritages, potential and tourism products to the domestic and foreign visitors. The art programs have been regarded as the highlights of the series of activities of the Visit Vietnam Year.
Over halfway through the Visit Vietnam Year 2019, the art programs have left a good impression on Nha Trang people and tourists. Prior to the closing ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2019, there will be more art programs held in Khanh Hoa, for example festival of cultural villages, music festival about soldiers, and art program for the people with disabilities. The art groups of Khanh Hoa also hold performances on the occasion of main public holidays.
