Khanh Hoa’s Traditional Art Theatre on September 10 (lunar August 12) held a ceremony to mark the Vietnam’s Stage Day 2019.
At the ceremony, the attendees performed ceremonial acts and offered incense to the ancestors of the stage in Vietnam. Besides, the artists and actors performed folk songs and “tuồng” (Vietnam’s classical drama) to celebrate the Vietnam’s Stage Day.

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee offered certificates of merit to 11 individuals having good results at the 2019 national contest for classical drama and folk music. Five artists who had been recognized as People’s Artist and Excellent Artist by the State President were honored by the provincial Department of Culture and Sports.
