At the contest, the contestants performed 33 solos, duets, ensembles, dances, etc. The performances revolved around the subject of the Communist Party, Uncle Ho, and country.

The contest ended with three first prizes, five second prizes, seven third prizes, and ten consolation prizes given to the most outstanding performances.
