The Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin in Khanh Hoa Province commemorated the 77th death anniversary of Dr. Alexandre Yersin (March 1, 1943 – March 1, 2020) with a ceremony held on March 1. Present at the ceremony were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Le Huu Hoang, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; and numerous people who admire the doctor.

Within the ceremony, Khanh Hoa Province’s leaders and other attendees offered incense and flowers at the statue of the doctor at Yersin Park (Nha Trang City) and at his tomb in Suoi Dau (Cam Lam District).

The memorial sites Dr. Alexandre Yersin in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, which are Alexandre Yersin Library (located on the campus of Nha Trang Pasteur Institute), Linh Son Pagoda, and Dr. Alexandre Yersin’s tomb site, were recognized as national heritages. Many streets, schools, and healthcare facilities were named after the doctor.
