Ducashow still retains its basic format with music and art performances, Vietnam’s traditional costumes and folk songs. However, during this time of COVID-19, Ducashow was re-staged, aiming at Vietnamese tourists instead of foreign tourists as before. The duration of the show was also reduced from more than 60 minutes to less than 60 minutes. The theater worked hard and put a lot of efforts into the new format to ensure the diverse cultural characteristics of the regions throughout the country featured in the performances and their novelty and fascination to entertain Vietnamese audiences. The theater focused on the details and characteristics that appear familiar to Vietnamese tourists but still bring them new experiences. Along with that, technology is used and exploited effectively to honor the artistic values. The performances were re-arranged and re-staged to be more joyful and lively to satisfy Vietnamese tourists’ taste.

All the artists, actors, and actresses of Legend Theater practiced hard and actively to prepare for the return of Ducashow. They especially put a lot of efforts and practice into the highlights, which are intended for Vietnamese tourists. “We all strive to bring the audience performances with good quality,” said Nguyen Thi My Trinh, an actress of Legend Theater.
The new format of Ducashow was created with better lighting and sound effects. The acting techniques of actors and actresses have also been improved. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Huyen, a tourist from Hai Phong City, said “This is the first time I have watched Ducashow and I was really surprised. The show has good contents, is well invested and appeals to audience. It is really great that Nha Trang has a night art show like this to serve tourists.”
With the return of Ducashow in new format, tourism companies have more products for domestic tourists. The show has a high sense of entertainment with sufficient duration, according to Bui Minh Thang, director of Victory Tour Company (Nha Trang City). The theater needs to promote cooperation with partners in order to attract audience, Thang added.
The version of Ducashow for Vietnamese tourists proves the effort of Nha Trang Tre Entertainment Joint Stock Company (executive unit of Legend Theater) in stimulating the domestic tourism. This is not a temporary solution but has been incorporated into the plan of the company. The company is making efforts to cooperate and promote Ducashow to other tourism companies inside and outside the province.
The return of Ducashow has not only brought joy to the artists, actors, and actresses of Legend Theater but also partly showed the recovery of the tourism industry of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
