For many years, the staff and artists of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe have worked in a head office with some working rooms and a small space for practice. The head office primarily serves as a place to store the troupe’s music equipment, props, and performance clothes, etc. Many facilities, especially the stage and roof, in this head office have been ramshackle. Reportedly, the province allocated a budget of VND1.1 billion to repair the stage and roof. The repair is expected to finish by November.

The repairs have solved some certain difficulties for the troupe; however, the troupe wishes to have a venue for professional performances satisfying the entertainment needs of the pubic, according to Tran Duc Ha, chief of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe.
A standard venue for art performances needs to be equipped with a modern stage with LED screen, sound and lighting systems, etc. which can help to highlight the artistic elements. The venue needs to have a seating capacity for about 300 to 400 audience. Besides, other facilities such as practice rooms, working rooms, and storerooms also need to be arranged appropriately.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports plans to propose that the provincial People’s Committee invest to upgrade the existing head office of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe to a performance center for the art units in the province. This performance center will also be the venue for performances of excellent works of local culture centers across the province.
In the public investment plan for the period 2021 – 2025, Khanh Hoa Province plans to repair and renovate a part of the head office of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe. If being approved, the project of renovating, upgrading and investing in the facilities and equipment of the troupe will be implemented in 2021.
Based on the general orientation of the province and the researches of some specialized agencies, the current location of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe will become an art performance venue connecting the province’s cultural activities with tourism activities if it is well invested. This will create more tourism products as well as better serve the province's performance activities. In the context of Nha Trang City still lacks cultural and art performances, the investment and upgrade of facilities of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe can be considered as a necessary project.
