The management committee of Tran Hung Dao Temple in Nha Trang City on October 6 (lunar August 20) held a ceremony to commemorate the 720th death anniversary of General Tran Hung Dao (Tran Quoc Tuan). Nguyen Dac Tai, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sport; province’s delegations; and people of the Tran clan in Khanh Hoa Province attended the ceremony.

The attendees performed ritual acts to pray for the nation’s peace and good things for the people; reviewed the biography and merits of the General who led people in the Tran dynasty to victory over Mongol invaders in the 13th century. Nguyen Dac Tai and the delegations offered incense to commemorate the nation’s hero.
Previously, another ceremony was organized at Tran Hung Dao Temple at Bach Dang Park (Nha Trang).
